Fabrics bought this week. Needed one solid, bougth some extras. Feels good!

I am not sure what they will become yet.

See too many possibilities with too little fabric... Never satisfied with fabric amount and/or variety... Familiar? LOL Quilty club thoughts...

It is two dark, coooold, gloomy days in a row weekend. Plus snow, that surprised us last night and is about to disappear today.

There is minimum colour amount per day I do need. Gloomy days does not cover the avarage colour dose need. It was proved long time ago. LOL So here is the thing to compensate. If you are like me, or the day was dark, it may make you smile.

The very first days a brand new year! Is not it inspiring?

Yay, I know no one writes this the way I do. My keyboard does not have an apostrophe! It has various Japanese signs on it instead. And guess what - I do rely on this for a prosperous year too. LOL

Are you making big resolutions? Have you checked the last year ones?

I am for this type of a year start actually... and do carefully avoid resolutions.

I am wrapping up 2011 with all its adventures, challenges and great moments and it seems a miraculous year. So I am dreaming of a lovely 2012. And wish the cookies had not gone so quickly. LOL

Back on the blog, after a really exciting summer and in the middle of a new office preparations. Really excited. Now add the Christmas season in a month and busy autumn... Just the right time to bring this blog and shop back to life and start with new fabrics post on Sunday Stash!

"Checked" seems to be the perfect name with all the lists I am currently working on. And the fact every check on a list makes me happy I am moving on. LOL

These checks made me buy them, although I did not need any at the moment according to the lists... How can a girl ignore checked fabric?

Do you see this beauty here?! It is my late summer party on the blog and the thing that makes me feel great every time I look at it every day this summer!

I can't believe how long it took me to come back to this blog. It is a little over 3 months and almost one summer after the previous post... It was a great summer actually and still is! I am so exited with loads of new things around me, the studio, my projects and a new studio to be presize! Painting/moving now!

Here is the quilt I made for my partner.
I wanted it secret for various reasons, including some postal adventures - it was posted twice. It is happily received now, so I can show it.

I was quite intimidated by my partner - great quilts on her photostream and blog, so I really had to make something nice for her. I decided to go for a handmade quilt. Not that they are not all handmade LOL. I decided to make one with no machine stitches on it actually. /I did add machine stitches to the flower panel, but it is more or less a packaging extra/.

Look what happened here today! Well it might be visible yesterday... I had not supposed it might happened today actually - just saw it 0 oregano leaves!

The seeds were planted on May 24th, late in the evening and I saw the leaves this afternoon - less than 4 days after placing the seeds.

This is the first pot with leaves in it this spring and I am really happy and anxious to see the rest.
