I am back after a long and crazy blog vacation! And this is my quilt for Doll Quilt Swap 10. I will tell you more about me and vacation, but first things, first - the quilt!
It is March! And almost a month after my previous post here.
So here is what is new - I was knitting socks like crazy. Had some foot trouble and successfully overcame it. I was sewing too little and knitting too much... well, I already mentioned it, nut it was a lot... Will show pics soon.
Another cold gloomy day. Another fresh, vivid green fabric...
I tend to really love fresh grass green in late winter.
Quilted today and ready for binding. Not telling yet what it is. But I am anxious to get it all finished and start using it.
You might know what 'zakka" means, or you may not... It is a special word and every sewing enthusiast with passion for simplicity and crisp designs would be alerted hearing it... Yay! Works like magic.
So I decided to name one of the categories in the boutique "zakka". I did not realize how obsessive sewing might be. I friend of mine asking me
"what does 'zakka' mean?"
made me think yesterday.
I am not going to explain it here. It just feels like trying to explain some magic. So just leave it as magical as you could in you mind and expect cuteness and simplicity.

I had a great day. And we celebrate two holidays one day - love and wine days. Love and wine make a great holiday couple - drink a glass a wine with your sweetheart. Isn't it lovely tradition?

Here comes February with new emotions and new items in the shop.
We start the creative 2011 on February 1st with the first new products in the shop for 2011.
I was liking, admiring, and listing in my to-do list these hearts for ages, thus making them the first new thing for 2011 was more than expected /by me/. LOL
It is official! - only 29 days left to Christmas!
The eshop will soon be getting some Christmas items too!
We are making some angel dolls and Christmas decorations now!
Coasters are coming this weekend too!
One of my favorite quilts was just added to the shop too - Sunshine Joy Quilt.
It is a small and extra cheerful one - great for a baby quilt, home decor spicing-up, or a lap quilt. Ready to ship and all shining with joy!
We have a fresh new week, a new month and a holiday season to celebrate this week!
Nov 1st is the official gift lists, decoration ideas, holiday paper and preparation and greeting cards writing.
If you happen to be amazed how crazy we might be to state this... Well, it is approximately one calm month and 24 hectic days before Christmas now.
I try to get it all done for Christmas by the end on November. It helps one feel the through spirit and aroma of the holidays. No stress, no crowd, no death lines...
